According to caracteristic of paragraph,depend to author how to convey intruction to the reader,its ussually devide into seven types of paragraph such us:

1.narrative: it ussually use to convey story,either fiction or non fiction

2.illustration:paragraph that gives specific example to prove the point with detail explanation example.

3.description:paragraph that used good example to influence the reader and its bring the reader in reall condition.

4.comparisson and contrass: paragraph that describe with comparison something to make sure that audience understand the content of the text.

5.definition:giving clear definition began from the first paragraph untill the end of the paragraph with detail example.

6.clasification: describe something people or item with clasify and organizing them into categories with detail example

The example of paragraph above is telling about story that contains the room of the writer. It can find the theme from understanding the sentences. There must be modifier sentences that explain the main sentences. Main sentences contains main idea or theme. “the space in my room” is main idea and the next sentences are explaning about it. If you want to know the type of paragraph, you have to read the content carefully from the begining untill the end of paragraph.

Narrative

        ducks who lived in a big lake had a friend who was a turtle Two. One year there was a very little rain and the lake began to dry up. One of the ducks said to the other, “Soon, there’ll be no water in this lake.Let’s goandlookforlake.”

     “Yes, answered the second duck, “But first let’s say good bye to our friend, the turtle.”

When they told the turtle they were going to leave, he said, “I’ll die here without any water and without any friends. Take me with you.”

“The ducks answered, “We can’t. We are going to fly, and you have no wings.”

“The turtle thought for a minute and then said, “please wait here.”

Then he went away and found a strong, straight stick. He brought it back to his friends, put the middle of it in his mouth and said, “Now if each of you takes me one end of the stick in his mouth, you can lift me up and carry me with you.”

     “ That is dangerous,” said the ducks, “if you try to talk while we’re carrying you through the air, you won’t be able to hold the stick, so you’ll fall down along way and break your shell.”

     we’re in the air. So the ducks took the stick and flew away, with the turtle between them. All went well until they were flying over a town. Then some people saw them and shouted, “Look, those ducks are carrying a cat!”The turtle got very angry, “A cat? I’m not …” he said, but he did not get any further, because when he opened his mouth, the stick came out of his mouth and the poor turtle fell to the ground.

what is paragraph?                  

The paragraph is arranged from sentences, every sentence may has main idea. The paragraph must have main idea. Sometimes main idea is placed in the beginning or in the end of paragraph. To find the main idea need to analyse the objective of the paragraph, understand the all meaning of all sentences.

There are seven types of paragraphs:

1. Narration: Narrative paragraphs tell a story, it isformed from several events which combine into a story. It is usually contains of characters, a setting, a conflict, and a resolution. Time and place and person are normally established in this paragraph.
2. Exposition: Exposition is paragraph explains something, it must be trusted and believable.  
3. Definition: Definition is paragraph that definessomething. It must be written in a simple word so that the reader will understand about what the writer says.
4. Description: descriptive paragraph is written in order to make the reader is able to imagine the scene, object, person, etc. It makes the reader know what it looks like even though they never see it.  
5. Comparison: it is paragraph written to compare two or more objects, characters, and etc.
6. Process Analysis is describes how a process happens. This type of paragraph is usually followed by illustration to help in understanding of process better.
7. Persuasion: this paragraph is written in such a way to persuade people to change their minds or take an action. In this paragraph the writer needs to supply the reader with the information, analysis, and context they need. Because it very important to influence the reader, and form their new opinion, and take action.
